Does anyone out there know how this girl could get some meaningful information from Amazon?

Account closed, all books she had paid for wiped from her kindle, and no reason given from amazon except they claim her account is in some undisclosed way linked to another account that has violated their rules in some undisclosed way.

Avoid DRM...

About a Norwegian girl who suddenly got her Amazon account closed. She has been using Kindle and buying books for a long time, but now her amazon account is closed and all the books she bought gone. And the worst thing is that Amazon wont't even try to help her.

With a 6 strikes rule making its way to the US, a 3 strike rule on the way in the UK and already effective in France, I have one proposal.

Could we say that this is ok if the same applies to the purported content owners? 6 erroneous takedown claims, and they are out? No more takedown claims ever?

With Scripps News Service issuing false takedown claims on Nasa-owned content monthly ( http://motherboard.vice.com/2012/8/6/nasa-s-mars-rover-crashed-into-a-dmca-takedown ) and other content not-quite-owners doing similar automated takedown claims all over the place it would get quiet very quickly...
