Hi.
Hi. I am a very long time Unix and Linux administrator (since SunOS 3.5 on Sun 3/280), and now mostly working in the RedHat family. Fedora on my laptop, and CentOS/RHEL on servers. Some Debian as well.

Windows 8 and deceptive marketing
Windows 8 and deceptive marketing
"New style" (The user interface formerly known as Metro) apps are single-window apps. The option to show part of another app on the screen doesn't seem to work very well. In practice you are supposed to work in one app at a time, just like the old Finder OS on the original Mac.
Shouldn't the name be changed to "Microsoft Window 8" then? And the logo changed to a single square, not the current one that seems to imply 4 simultaneous windows on the screen?
