Okay, no. Let's not succumb to the aggression of the meta-narrative and look for a constructive alternative. If I were going to post an image intended to influence a consciousness like Rupert Murdoch, what might that be? A deceased animal of some description to symbolise what factory farming and food speculation is doing? The Pacific gyr rubbish heap, an accumulation of garbage the size of Texas that is the result of shit washed into the oceans, as an object lesson in the fatal flaw with "externalities" as part of economic theory? Images of human beings suffering from the inequality in access to resources, people suffering from lack of food, health care, housing, security or education?
His own publications feature photos like this all the time and it doesn't seem to have made a difference.
Photos of people cultivating gardens or producing useful, sustainable things as an alternative to the current fatally-flawed and imminently terminal growth economy. Hell, he posts them too and labels them dirty hippies, socialists or terrorists.
The only image that would affect that critter would be something documenting the decline of his wealth. I doubt we can get any kind of intelligent message through.
Oh, a middle aged witch, sky clad, in a pentagram holding a noose while the other twelve witches around her are chanting something and yellow candles are burning. In one Wicca tradition yellow candles are for law and justice. Sky clad is naked, btw. Acceptance of normal adult women's bodies seems to be a bit of an issue for poor Rupert.
My guess is his Mum was a smart woman and he was just too narcissistic to ever learn how to relate to her.
Oh yeah. Successful, capable women. That's the go. Not the Hollywood style where they're all anorectic and fucking the hero of the story.... Plain, capable women.
I once saw a record called "Holding up half the sky - women in reggae". I loved the title.
The ting about the women all around us is that they each hold a treasure within. Some are easily accessed, others are hard. But the treasure is definitely worth finding.
There is hardly a capable woman that is plain. Some are drop dead gorgeous, others are irresistibly cute. Some are razor sharp intellects, others are crazier than the mad hatter. Some have a fantastic sense of humor, and some are full of compassion and love.
Any man who has a problem accepting that we are all equal, that no sex is superior in any way is a very weak and uncertain man. And such men always want a lot of power.
It is a big humiliation for the humanity that most of us see hungry people all around the world and we don't really help those who in need!
SvarSlettLeaders? IMHO Rupert Murdoch has far too much influence on our "leaders." For him I'll post a noose.

I'm open to suggestion.
