USB 3.0 Dock

I have 2 questions for Lenovo  regarding the USB 3.0 dock:

1) Will there be a version of this dock with DisplayPort or better instead of DVI? The DisplayLink chipset claims to support higher resolution monitors, but not on DVI ports. I would like higher resolutions so I can switch to dual 27" 2560x1440 (or better) monitors.

2) Linux support for the display ports on this dock. Currently I can only have one external screen connected to the mini DP port on my laptop. The DisplayLink ports in the dock are useless. I know it's up to DisplayLink to release the driver, but can you kick their shins for me? With some more weigth than I have? They have ben saying that it is forthcoming since they introduced the newer chipsets, but nothing has emerged so far.
