A quick fix for a broken SD card socket using sugru.
Half of a pack of sugru applied to the bottom of the enclosure. Press raspie down with sd card in socket. Remove again. Let sugru harden, and trim off so it doesn't interfere with the switch at the bottom of the socket or the write lock on the side of the sd card. Also sand slightly down to give the card a little room or it will be hard to insert. Reassemble.
